Flower on a farm

Went to a local farm on Saturday morning and they had gigantic flowers all over the place. Not to mention goats, sheep, ducks, horses and some of the best smoothies I've ever had.

footbridge

This is my second post today. Somehow I missed yesterday's, so this makes up for it! Footbridge in the park outside of EF.

Lilac wood

There are pieces of lilac plants in the front of my house that have died and are starting to decompose. Thought this on in particular was pretty cool.

Benches

When they redid the benches at the Cambridgeside Galleria, I didn't want to sit on them cause the stain looked too perfect and like it would rub into my clothing. Now I kinda like that they're wearing out and getting weathered.

Moss on trees

There's some weird moss growing on a tree in my backyard. All this rain has fueled it and the stuff is growing like crazy.

Chainlink

I've been walking over the Charlestown bridge to work for about 4 years now and this piece of yellow plastic has been tied to the chain-link fence for as long as I can remember.

Lilacs

There are lilac plants all around my house. They look kinda cool until all the petals fall off and then they're just kinda like any other shrub.

Moss

On the way to meet my girlfriend in JP last night, I passed by this piece of moss that was almost glowing. All the more cool because it's been gloomy in Boston all week.

Bleeding hearts

Two years ago I took a cutting of a bleeding heart from my house in Connecticut and planted it at my place in Malden. It didn't do much the first year, but now it's gotten pretty big. I like that it dies down to the ground and comes back up again every spring.

Water drops

Seems like this rain's never going to end. Came across this in Malden on my way home last night.

The project begins

After thinking about ways to push my photographic creativity, I decided to start a daily photo blog..I mean everyone else already has one right? We'll see where this project goes and what it turns into, but the general theme for now is depth-of-field. I'm also limiting myself to use of the camera on my phone (happens to be pretty decent).

I'm really excited about what this might morph into, the different directions the project may take and just to have an excuse to shoot some hopefully awesome shots. Check back for daily updates!
